GREENWOOD ESTATE · NAWALAPITIYA, SRI LANKA

More than a leaf.
A living heritage.

Our single estate teas come from Greenwood Estate in Nawalapitiya, Sri Lanka. Meticulously hand picked and hand crafted to the highest quality standards, each selection celebrates the care and skill behind premium artisanal Ceylon tea.

Ceylon’s tea story took root commercially in 1867, when James Taylor planted tea at Loolecondera, near Kandy. As coffee rust transformed the island’s plantations, tea began a new chapter.

Today, the name Ceylon carries that history into every cup. Altitude, rainfall and the skill of the people who tend and make the tea shape an extraordinary range of flavours.

From misty highlands to warmer low country, Sri Lanka’s tea landscapes offer remarkable variety. Behind every harvest are growers, pluckers and makers whose knowledge brings the leaf to life. Our collection celebrates that craft through loose leaves you can see, smell and brew at your own pace.

Choose your leaf

Start with 2g of tea per 200ml of fresh water. Give the leaves room to unfurl.

02

Find the right warmth

Try 80°C for delicate greens and whites, and 95°C for a full black tea.

03

Pause. Pour. Enjoy.

Steep to your taste, strain fully, and enjoy the moment. Try a second infusion.
